Hello from Temecula Ca.

I just started having a few mechanical issues that I wanted to fix myself and I stumbled across IS. It's has been great! Found out how to fix my gas gauge that has been stuck for 2 years!

Welcome and glad you've found some answers. There's sure a lot to read about here for things that may or may not be broken.
What color do you have and do you have any mods?

Welcome to :iS: Glad to see another DIYer. Just so you know. The gas gauge fix is not s real fix. Well at least that's my experience. I have have clean it two more times since I put the DIY together.

How long did it last? I did it about 6 months ago and so far so good! The dealer wanted $700 to fix it so I don't mind if I have to keep doing it. Took less than an hour the first time.

I think its about 9 months the first time and the later were something like 3 months. If you get tired of keep doing it, buying the parts and doing yourself should be around $400. No need to go the dealer. Spend the $300 on mods :smile (2): The bad part about this was that even with the new parts, one member on here had replaced them twice already.
