Hi there,

First of all, sorry if you find some mistakes in my English. But I will try to do well, with my college English ;)

I have an 2006 FX35 AWD and it does not have the Chrome Trims around the side-windows, which was optional. I looked it up in ebay.com but only found some non-OEM pillar chrome trims. I want to have the OEM trims around the windows.. Do you know where I can buy these? And what is the correct phrase (word) for the item for further searching in the WWW?

I hope, I could give you a short description of my problem. Are any photos needed where I can show you the item I´m looking for, or did you get this?

I think this is what I´m looking after. And now I know that its called "door moldings". I always looked up "window trims" and so on...

Ebay does not offer the door moldings, why?
 
The chrome window trim came standard on 2006-2008 FX45s. This is a very expensive mod to do. I did this on my old 2004 FX35. I found the door/window trim on eBay and I purchased the rear quarter glass from that website. The actual trim you can remove and replace on your own, but the glass on the rear should be installed by a professional.
 
The trim around the quarter glass can not be purchased seperatly
 
Yes, its a complete window assembly with the chrome attached to it. Again, very expensive, but I was happy to get it done for the look and durability.

My uncle, aunt, and cousins live in bad Kissingen...maybe you know that area of Germany? I love Germany...so beautiful....one of my favorite places was hiking in the Black Forest.

@AeroBFA: Yes the look is brilliant. I think it´s a must have if you have a grey car. But still I can´t find some (used) chrome trims on ebay -.-


The next optional equipment I desire is the privacy cover for the trunk. Is this a fix element or can it be rolled out and in? And can someone provide me the link from infinitipartsusa for this?

My daughter did Genetic research at Wurtzburg University in Germany a few years ago. We enjoyed visiting her and also touring Deutschland, it's beautiful there.
 
What part of Germany are you from? I did 2 tours with the Army in Mainz. My daughter (10 yr) lives with her mom in Mainz Finthen. I come and see her every summer along with my friend in Schwerin.
