Hello Everyone,Question for powder coated crew

Hello guys, Ive been lurking for a while now, and decided I would join the party. I just got my wheels back from powder coating, and have a question about the hubs. Since I have to paint them, whats the best way to remove the infiniti emblem from the cap? Ive read that some have used a blow dryer to heat them and then pop them off. I have tried this, but im scared to slide something under and trying it, dont want to risk snapping them. I guess I could tape them off before painting, just dont think it would turn out as well as removing them. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and look forward to hanging out here!

had my rims powder coated with the exception of the emblem... my guy told me they pop right off as with the emblem on the grille and engine cover... just an fyi

ON my 05 i had the 18" wheels. The emblems are riveted on the back side. you can drill them out and the emblems will fall right off. You can epoxy them back on later.

theyre glued to the back just remove them and regllue.

Well, yes and no, they are revitted, then glued on top of that. Like someone metioned earlier, I guess ill have to drill it out then reglue. Not too excited about drilling into the plastic
