Hi Everyone,

I have enjoyed my bulletproof FX35 for many many miles. I am wanting to fix my side mirrors and looking around for a DYI. Any help would be appreciated. I tried Search and while many threads discuss this issue, there is not a definitive one for fixing it - that I was able to find.

What's wrong with your side mirrors?

They're loose, there's about two to three inches of play in the mirror housing. The other one has similar play and the motor just spins. I was able to to tighten the three screws in one, and that seem to fix it, but the second one it did nothing. Maybe the gears are stripped? Not sure what the fix is.

Ok, you fixed one with tighten up the three nuts. The second one also lose and motor issues? where the studs on the second stripped? I can't imagine why tighten up the three nuts on the second one won't tighten it to the door. As for the motor issue, are saying the motor move, but the glass mirror not moving with the motor?
