Newbie here. Have always checked out this forum for much needed answers for questions I've had in the past, and I must say that I'm impressed with all of the help and quality advice that has been passed around. Currently have an 08 Infiniti FX 35 which I've been extremely happy with since 2010. No major issues BUT it is almost that time to have someone else enjoy her just as much as I did. Heading over to the electric side, hopefully, within the next 18 months with either an S or an X.

I test drove the model S the other day and man that thing is a real rocket. The tech of course is right there with the best as well. Not to mention how great the handling is.
I love IC engines but Tesla really made a believer out of me.
I will eventually get an electric car but not sure which one though. I like the model s a lot but it’s expensive, I also like what Volvo is doing, they have polestar 2 right around the corner and it looks really promising.

There are quite a few manufacturers coming out with new electric vehicles which look very promising. And it sure seems like every last one of them is very expensive..lol. The one thing that Tesla has over the competition is mile range. All the others don't come close. The Polestar does look nice. Just seems like none of these cars being shown will be out any time soon. I also test drove the Model S and it definitely was an amazing experience. Extremely fast...and that wasn't even the performance model. Unfortunately, I can't afford a new model so I'll be looking for a 2-3 year lease turn-in. I also love the roominess of the Model X. So it's a toss up at this time. Another gorgeous car is the Tesla pick-up truck that's being circulated over the internet. It's suppose to be unveiled later this month. Looks hot although it's not the actual rendering. Everything is turning towards electric consumption, and I'm gonna hop on that bandwagon.
