heated seat questions

It seems that my driver heated seats works in an interval where it gets hot and cools down. Is this how our heated seats work?

i can tell you that the heated seats on our FX aren't that good, as in the heating element takes time to work. while this sucks, to my knowledge, it's true that it DOES work at an interval where it peaks according to the thermostat and then shuts off.

That may be a good thing dont want that a@@ to get burnt.... I can honestly say that they dont get that hot.

thats so unfortunate that our heated seats does not work well. My friend's crv has better heated seats.. OH well.. I still love my fx35.

The heated seats in my A4 work about the same in terms of output and warm up time. Neither have ever really bothered me. The Audi seats actually have a 6 level incremental temperature adjustment. Talk about overkill...

Do the audi, crv, etc have a/c seats as well? If not, I'd rather keep these

I rarely use the AC in my seats but I do use the seat heaters in the really cold mornings.
I have found the seat heaters in my last 3 Infinitis do not work near as well as my seat heaters in my big ole GMC Z71 Crew Cab, it really heats up nicely.

You're in canada...you like the cold...of course you rarely use the AC! lol

LOL, my AC for the inside of the FX is never off. It comes on whenever required. My auto climate control is always set to 22C (71.6F) to 23C (73.4F)
