Headphone for OEM Rear DVD Player

I am pretty sure I can go to best buy or radio shack and buy any "IR" based headphones and it will work with the OEM DVD player so I can have "wireless" headphones.

Can anyone give me confirmation before I buy today?

I'm pretty sure as long as there ir they should work... might want to buy on a cc just incase so it's easier to return if not, but I think it'll be fine.
