Headlight wear

Hey guys

So super happy new owner of an 09 fx with 124 kilometers on it

The car is really near mint with one "clear" exception being the headlights

The tops of both driver and passenger units are worn very evenly .. which is good .. but its unreal how much they are when you compare it to the rest of the vehicle

My question (if i had 10 postings id just show you) is has anyone had any experience with a headlight restore products on these cars?

And if so .. which one would you recommend?

I have done this on one of my older cars before but understanding that each light is different id like to know what is best suited for this application

I actually just did mine a couple weeks ago when I noticed they were looking faded again. I just use some paint polish I have with a rag and some good old elbow grease.

A lot of ways to do it, but basically you just want to remove the outer layer that looks bad, and best to seal it somehow afterwards to keep them looking new. Even wax from when you wash should help if it has UV protection. I don't worry about that too much because it's so easy to clean them up though.

The 09 lenses seem really soft, I have the same issue. I tried a few kits but they haven't helped much - I'm considering getting totally new headlights because of it...
