headlight painting question

is it ok to just paint it with rattle can spray paint?
if i took it somewhere to get em done how much would be the right cost?

There are many thread on headlight painting (I suppose you're asking about painting the chrome bazel). But yes rattle can in ok. Many use Krylon Plastic brand semigloss or gloss.

sorry i was actually thinking on painting the outside ....black my headlight chrome
bzel part melted during dtrl swap so it hurts me to see it... i just want to paint
the outside so i dont have to see the melted part anymore

are you talking about spraying nightshade on the outer cover? you can do that but make sure you put clear coat also. one thing you must consider if you are doing it yourself is that the curves on the head light will make it extremely difficult for you to do a perfect job.

Oh i see. If you just rattle can paint it itll look like rattle can painted take it to a shop (but it'll probably cost you at least $100, so might as well put that toward the purchase of new pair of headlights) I might be selling my sport model headlight soon. Keep an eye out.

Bad choice don't do that just get them painted on the inside. You won't be able to see at night
