Headlight lenses

He guys,

I have been looking the forum regarding the install of some angel eyes.
Now, my headlights are looking like shit due to the yellow fading, and on the driver side there is some damage on the outer lens.
I am wondering if these outer clear lenses are being sold separate, and if so where cause i can't find them.

Otherwise i will end up buying another set of headlights which dramatically increase the costs of this mod.
I have cleaned the lenses up before with this special polish but after some time the just become yellow again, and i cant get rid of the damage. (a crack in the lens in the corner)

Any thoughts?
 
There is a member here selling headlights for parts, look in the for sale section they might still be available.

Thx, hopefully he's willing to sell the lenses separate.
Just want to get the chrome painted black, install angel eye's and close them again without doing any more modifications.
 
Wietse did you get these lenses already...?? And are you talking about the outter lenses you can get from him. I am in need of a "new"set as well. Maybe you can get 4 so we can split shipping...?? Lett me know please.....mine look like crap as well......
 
I think he was referring to me, and I was selling some headlights that I had disassembled for a project I never completed. I didn't have extra lenses. And I sold the parts I had. I don't think you can get the lenses separately. But I have seen entire headlights go for relatively low prices on eBay.

Yeah i know i've seen them as well, but shipping to us is always killing. I do have an extra set here but need to take them apart and always a lot of working trying to peel of/out as much of the kit/clue as possible. So thought when i could buy the seperatly i can keep these complete here......just in case ;-)

Those are not sold seperate as far as I know. I tried to find a set of just lens a while back and there was nothing available.

No i still don't have any replacements yet, as mentioned here i also believe now you can't find them separately.
The best options is to buy from Ebay, $400 for the lights and another 100-150 dollar for shipping and tax.

I think i will wait for the winter time, get some new ones ordered and will be a nice indoor job on the work bench to do some modding :wink:
If you also are not in a rush we can still try to buy 2 sets to lower the shipping costs a bit.
AND, i've heared that they want to get rid of the taxation on stuff from the US so it might be worth waiting a while.
 
Patience seems to be my middle name nowadays but as i said i have my oem set lying around here as i already bought another set trough ebay once. So best that i take these apart and save me the 400,-
Bit late if they would get rid of these taxes esspecially after all the shizzle i already imported for this thing and almost done haha...
