HEADLIGHT COMPATIBILITY

Can someone please clear up some things about headlight swaps, considering a used set and have read some conflicting reports if they swap over between years, I have an 08 fx35 these lights will be coming off a 2005 or a 2007 depending

They're interchangeable direct replacement. The only difference is the actual glass projector lens. One come with clear glass lens; while the other are fresnel (circular ring/line molded into the glass) glass lens.

Are you positive, i was in contact with the dealer today and he mentioned they cannot be swapped directly electrically something is different between them. Are you positive with that?

Based on my experience on these headlights, I don't recall any there is any difference between the years in the first gen FXes.
