Headlight Brightness Loss

Does anyone feel light there stock HID heads are losing some of the whiteness to them? I always constantly pass other cars with stock hid's and they look more crisp and white.. Mine however are starting to look a bit yellow.. During the day.. Can the lights lose their lust over time? (mine is an 05)

stock HID bulbs are 4300k .. they will look yellow.... always

other car may have the ~4500 so they appear more white.

I have 5000k and they are the best of both worlds IMO (white and bright)

agreed with themerchant. Tell someone to drive ur car around while you look from the outside. They may look bright white from far awhile but as you get closer its really yellow.

I switched to philips 6000k. It is bright enough (even though you are losing lumens) and has the same bluish tint on the hid (but not ghetto blue) like you see on range rovers, bmws, etc.

I've got 5k's in the fogs... I guess I have to have a friend drive it for me to see for myself.
I think I might switch to 5k's to even it up... But I'm almost sure those German cars are running something other then 4300k, It's gotta be 4500
