Headlight Ballast

Anyone ever change a headlight ballast? How is it done?

Have to remove the headlights, the ballasts are on the bottom of the HL.

Which is a PITA (^^), you might as well just get an after market D2S HID kit and install that in it's place and stop using the OEM ballast. Not to mention the OEM ballast is probably $$$.

I heard a new oem ballast is around $600

I would try a junk yard.
