I’m the original owner. I live my car more everyday. Thought about getting a new one but I’m cool with mine. I have 20” wheels on it, not to fancy but a change from the norm. I recently upgraded the audio by adding an amp and a dud to enrich the sound. I didn’t wanna over do it and I’m sacrificing a lil cargo room, but hey I’m single, I still have plenty of room.

It was very hard to experiment with the factory wiring for the stock sub. No one would help me identify the wiring colors and the only thing true was the black lead (negative), but I clipped it anyway and now I have great sound. I wish I knew about this forum before I completed this project. My next project is to add fiber starlights to the headliner. Big move and it can’t be cheesy. I’ll be reaching out for advice on how to remove the headliner soon.
Stay safe, all

WS - question, do you have an AWD QX50? I have a '16 also and was looking to change out the wheels but have been going through it w/ fitment specs. The shop recommended staggered setup while several people say no to staggered on an AWD. If you don't mind - what are your wheel/tire specs?

Thanks!!

I have an aftermarket figment. I wanted to go up just a lil in size. 245/35ZR 20. I don’t see a need for staggered fitment except for looks! The Euros and racers do it, but for an everyday car that you will be rotating the tires on regularly, staggered is a pain in the butt. Most tired are directional which means they can only be mounted to roll in one direction so u cant rotate without dismounting and mounting the tires. U can’t rotate front to back so that makes tire rotations more expensive and takes longer for u if Ur waiting for Ur car. U tires in the fron won’t fit the rear wheels so u have to unmount\mount EVERY time. If they’re all the same size, front to back and it’s a done deal. My car rides fine on matching size wheels and tires. That staggered opinion was a preference for the person that told u that. Not a bad idea, but not practical either. Here’s a B\W pic of my car and a pic of the wheel which was a replacement recently. Good luck. And I’d line to see pics of urs when Ur done

Very Nice!!!! That car shine is like a mirror!! My real dilemma is wheel width. I'm debating btw 9" or 10". The 10" is the preference but I'm not sure how aggressive it would be and I don't want them out too far, but I'm going with a pair of Rohanna RC10's. I was going to go with the same color pattern that you have but I'm strongly considering the graphite w/ a gloss black lip. I'll definitely make a choice within the next day or two and updated pics will come soon after!! Thanks again for the insight!!

Just one last opinion. The 10” will look the best and make it look really aggressive for sure. And I won’t go against that. They’ll probably fit good too, like right at the edge, but make sure u don’t have wheel rub in the front! Just for reference, mine are only 8.5 wide and they are close to the edge. So pending on the offset of the wheel, 10” will look mean! Don’t forget wheel rub and don’t forget pis when u get’em. Stay safe!
