having trouble with car and need help

ok my alarm just started going off one and like every 20 min iu keep goin off for the hole night and now the next dAY IT STOPED AND NOW IT SAYS THE RIGHT PASSANGER DOOR IS OPEN BUT ITS NOT HELP :tdown:
 
yes

yes the passanger rear door light was on the front dome lights and all the light under the door satyed on so i had to shut them off

how did you shut off all the lights?

possible you have a bad door light switch? does the car think one of the doors are open?
 
yes the car door thinks its open i replesed the door pop switch and it went away for about 2 hours and then it was back on i dont know what it is and its bothering me helpppppppp:tonguey:
 
Sounds like you are going to need to replace that switch.

As a temporary fix, maybe you can remove the fuse that controls that circuit?
 
Sorry man couldn't meet up too busy at work but try taking out your battery terminals if that don't work try resseting The alarm system by putting the key in the door and lock it then do the same step to unlock Or u could try removing the fuse and last but not least did u get an aftermark alarm if so look for the shut off switch and hold it for like five seconds for it to reset
 
no aftermarket alarm but im gonna try the key thing

I think underneath the steering wheel right by the brake pedal or in the hood but I doubt that u tried the key thing or battery conn
 
Yea I'll be there I still got that problem in my head I just don't know wats wrong I'm keep thinking and post here later and u changed the switch to right take ur switch and the electric meter put it In ohms and if u hear a buzz switch is open so no good
 
i can see if the switch had a fuse in it and it keep going bad but theres nno way for u to know and i cant find no alarm fuse and no fuse for the door switch
 
Mike asked if you tested the old switch with a OHM meter. that will tell you if the old switch is bad or if its something else. Since the new switch is acting the same way.

most people have problems with the actuator, your problem is rare. You might have to take it to a mechanic
