Has this happened to you?

So, I just got an 06 FX35 about a month ago. I took it out on its 2 hr road trip. I guess I was riding about 90 mph the entire way. About halfway thru the ride, I heard a thud. I figured a good sized rock had hit the undercarriage. When I got home, I noticed that most of my rooftop antenna was gone. WTF? I can't tell if it broke off or not. It looks like it just unscrewed itself. Has this happened to anyone? Aside from the dealer, where can I get a replacement? My GF is pissed. its her car and she blames me for driving too fast.

First i've heard of that on any car. I avg 80-85 and have had no issues.

theres a thread here or on the org about a loud thud coming from the rear side due to worn suspension parts but antenna!!! donno what happened there..

Mine's good up to 130, and it points forward. Although I think the wind blew it back. Maybe it was already loose for some reason.

The manual clearly states that the antenna is rated up to speeds of 88 mph. Anything above that is your risk. It sounds like it was your fault for just plain driving too fast. Also, higher frequency radio stations emit a slightly higher magnetic field that may have helped force the antenna off of the roof.
(Just kidding, by the way. I made all that crap up). It sounds like a fluke. Speed safely. Sounds like the it's your girlfriend's fault to me.
