has anyone painted the OEM "spoiler"

I was wondering has anyone painted their spoiler on the back hatch into body color?

yeah there ar ea couple of people who have done this.... try a seach and it should come up; like "painting trim"

So i'm looking into this right now as am planning to repaint the car and rear spoiler as well. But cannot seem to find any intell and such surch criteria you cave here.
I'm trying to find out if and how i can take off the rear spoiler or how it is all mounted back the with trims etc.
I know about the rear hatch but that is all i can find......:err:

ray, it doesn't have to be removed, I've done a few still attached on the hatch just fine...

Don't think it comes off, the 3rd brake light does pop out. Can't find a clear picture, I left the bottom side near the glass trim black.

Thanks guys... Need to figure out all this stuff so i won't have to surch for all that when working onthe car. Starting within the next 2 weeks.

Yeah keeping that trim black would be a posibilty as well, with te shadow falling down there and my new paintcolor being kinda dark as well that deff would be an idea.
I was worrying about the rubber strips around the rear window and how to take them of as well.

Ok just FYI. I took the rear window out and tried to take of the spoiler. I do think it can come off but not without a fight........one i didn't want to battle in the end.
There are some screws you can take out but i think most is clips and kit.......and clips are breaking on me as a @#!&@*@%! right now when taking the FX apart :err:
So i could just peel out the window strip and that works fine for me right now.
