Has anyone install the folding side mirror??

it's standard on the 2008 FX45's, the person I know who has that feature is aiya. he and other '08 fx45 can chime in of that feature.
 
No one that we know of has done the retrofit yet. It would involve replacing the entire side mirror housing is what I believe was discovered. The motor sits very deep in the housing near the hinge. You'd also need to run the requisite wires into the cabin as well as replace the switch to control it as well.

This is easily one of the most used features on my FX, especially with street parking in NYC. I also use it when driving past double parked cars or to let bike messenger/motos by when stopped at lights.
