Harsh Ride w/20" OEM's

I had an 06 with the 20" sport package. It had Goodyear stocks, I switched to Yokohama parada spec x which improved handling and ride quality. I'd call it sporty, not harsh. At least when compared to my roush mustang with full eibach suspension and 20's.
Now, I recently bought a 2010fx with 18's after my 06 was totalled :( I hated the look of the 18's and didn't care for the style of the stock 20's.
Sooo I bought 2011 m37 sport 20x9's and added Yokohama parada spec x again, far superior over the bridgestones stock 18's and I'd say comparable to my old 06 20's. Let's call it 'sporty luxury'

my 2010 fx35 ride harsh too is there any thing we can change in the suspension so it make it smoother.. my tires are 18" . :confused.:

I think we need to keep in mind the purpose of the vehicle. Can't really have a sporty crossover with a pillow soft suspension. :smug:

I have the OEM 20's and my ride is buttery smooth. I don't get the complaints about a harsh ride.

Teeth cracking?? Now your just being silly. The ride is no where near that kind of stiffness. I guess you never been in an X6 before lol.

yeah, but the ride is jarring. Sporty is one thing, but any pot holes in the street and your teeth crack. Really.

It can't be that bad. I live in the city and there are pot holes but I wouldn't describe the suspension as teeth jarring, if it really is that bad then your car has issues.... What was your previous ride, maybe you were just spoiled. Or have your teeth checked

I had the FX50 21's on my M45 and the ride was rather harsh. If i would have went with a softer tire it probably wouldn't have been so bad. Had Pirelli PZero's up front and Dunlop's in the rear.
