hard to decide? black or polished?

Wow, surprised you haven't installed the coilovers yet. I planned on waiting initially, but ended up installing them 10 minutes after the UPS guy left, lol. Sport tails would be a nice mod to do next!

I really would like to install the coilovers now but with no place to install them and not wanting to pay an arm and a leg to have someone do it, im just going to wait for my friend to have some free time and use his shop. I am really interested to find out more on these sport head and tail lights. I hear everyone talking about them. so im off to do some searches. chow my friends!

Look in the classified section. There are a set of sport tailights (not sure if they are both inner and outer though). I have a feeling there will be a set of both sport headlights and sport tailights for sale very soon lol.

I got my sport headlights from another member on the forum. The tails I got on eBay. Just look at my album and you can see how they look on copper. Headlights can get pricey, so maybe you can spend a day and do the DIY painting method too.

I do really like them indeed, but you guys are right about the price of the headlights, lol WOW i priced some at $850 used. they look good but i think for the rear tails i would paint the lower reflectors black or smoke them.

man your copper looks good with those sport tails. how long did it take you to put them coilovers on?

It took about four hours for the install. It could've been a lot quicker, but some of the bolts where really difficult to get off. Luckily, I had la_fx35 to help me do the install in his garage. :wink (2):

Those look pretty cool. Honestly I like them both ways (black centers or silver centers), maybe the black center would get the edge over silver, but they both look good. I would probably leave them as they are and put those coilovers on as soon as your friend has room for you to work on her.

thanks chocolate! You guessed it im going to leave them alone and my friend shot me a text and said he will have time friday. YAY! she is almost comlete besides a

supercharger "when they come out with one"

That was a hardtail...Raleigh Mojave 8.0

I have a slight addiction to collecting...
I currently ride a Chumba VF2 (full sus), a GT Peace 9R (full rigid 29er), a Masi Alare (roadie), and I have a cheapie Fetish Cycles track frame I've been meaning to build up into a fixie.

And that's the thinned down stable of bikes hahahaha.

okay im so jelous you have a chumba vf2. sweet bike man! i have always wanted a hx2 but i dont have that kind of money to spend :frown:. I just put an KHS DJ150 on layaway at my bike shope. I really love hardtails since I grew up riding bmx, street, dirt with a 20", im kind of used to it. I like full suspension aswell but only for mid trails or downhill. but when it comes to beefy trails or dirt ill be pulling 360's and no handers all day with that dj150,hahaha. i heard alot of good things about the gt peace 29er and for the money its a good bike. gt is a bit underrated for there mountain bikes i think. when i comes to bmx they dont stand a chance but there mtb geometry and some of the componets they use with keeping the price down is a good deal for a good bike. I was really considering of running a 2011 gt avalance3.0 "small" for my trails and at only 550 it was a great deal. although i would of love to see hydraulic brakes, but i guess for 550 you excpet much.

where do you live at again? is there alot of trails? i live in boring wichita,ks so there are more man mad trails and flats than anything:mad.:

Yes Chuma is expensive. Bikebling and Chumba worked with me as I ordered a XCL in white, but because they didn't have small or white XCLs they cut me a deal on a white VF2, well then they didn't have any white VF2s, so they cut me a deal on any other color I wanted. In the end I got a really really nice rig built up by them for an awesome price. I am sworn to secrecy on the discount, but to replicate this build would have been close to 4Gs.
I love the GT, I use it like a commuter. I will eventually switch to some slicks or go the other route with some Big Apples for a cushy ride lol. This one was another deal from Rbikes. It was 540 shipped, which beat even the deals on ebay at the time. Performance had them in the tan for 350 I think, but I wanted the rasta colors.

Honestly I am not a skilled rider. I would rather die than get hurt, so I am fairly timid when I ride. I also prefer flat pedals and my legs are tatted up with scars lol. I am one of those guys who believe that a rig doesn't make a rider. I was faster on my Haro Sonix than I am on the VF2.

I'm in Houston, everything is pretty much flat. I wanted a Chumba because everyone here rides Specialized, Trek, and Fisher. I needed to stand out and my first choice was a Rocky Mountain, but there were no deals to be found on them when I bought the Chumba. Plus I thought if I ever travel I could take the Chumba and it can deal with anything from XC to AM trails, even though I can't hahahaha.

Oh and you dirt jumpers are nuts! I always stop by the jumps and check those guys out in awe lol.

lol okay okay. ill stop talking about bikes, lol. ill hit him up about the headlight and taillights.

hey chocolate!! if you throw your chumba in the deal ill do it for $700 lol okay joking my friend
