Hankook RH06 or RH07

I finally decided on the tires after reading so many posts on this forum.

It'll be Hankook 275-45-20 for my stock 20s.

I know a lot of people have experiences with the RH06. But how about the RH07. I found a set of RH06 for $100 cheaper than the RH07.

06 baby all the way. These are the next tires I plan on getting. The thing that makes me like them more than the 07 is the tread design looks alot better in my opinion. I was also a fan of the Proxes.

yes the 06 design does look better though. I'm just curious if the 07 is a better tire..hmmm what to do...

RH07 is not an update to the RH06 like many would think. They're different models. RH07 is more of a truckish tire than the sporty RH06. Get the 06..

Thanks everyone. I made my decision... going with the RH06 275/45/20... dropping it with springs and shocks hopefully soon once the parts are available.

My puzzle is finally complete, rims will be shipped soon, won an auction for tpms... now the tires. It took me weeks to get all these items together!!! so much fun but too much work!

I need a drink now!!! nevermind, it's 1am, I need to sleep!

Did you ever get these tires put on? Discount Tire said they won't mount the 275/45/20 because I assume those are meant for 20 x 8.5 or above. But if enough people are running them I may just go talk to the guy and tell him I don't care what his computer says.

Stu, many people are running 275/45s on 20 inchers.. I'm even running 275/40/20 tires on my stockers.. Go ahead.. You won't have any issues..

I talked to another DT, hehe, and they seemed to say it was ok. The Infiniti parts guy I talked to also said he thought it would be ok. I kinda get the feeling that I know more than the people I am consulting, but whatever. I am going to the other DT now to place the order. Thanks for the reply EG3, I was wondering who else was running them. I had already spoken to INFX35 about his. Hankook's website says they are for 20 x 8.5 and above though. Meh, more tire bulge=better protection IMO.

Went in today for some new shoes.........

I went from Yoko Parada Spec X 285/50/20 to Hankook RH06 275/45/20 Less sidewall buldge but the wheel well gap is a tad bigger.

They perform fine - no complaints.
As for the looks - I think Im used to the huge side wall buldge that were on my Yokos.

I love the way RH06's handle the corners on winding mountain roads and they proved to be pretty good in the snow as well.:tup:
