Most of our members favorite tire, the Hankook Ventus ST RH06 has been discontinued. My tires are in need of replacing and called some local shops. One local shop can't get them at all. They called Hankook and was told they were being discontinued. I called another big chain store, and they can get a full set. 3 from their store, and 1 from another store, but they say they are on very low supply. Making me believe they have indeed been discontinued.

If you're in need of tires, you better track a set down now. You wont be able to get it later.

I am not sure if it's just the size 265 40 R22 being discontinued...but that is the only size I inquired about.

I thought these got discontinued a few years ago, and were hard to find for a bit, but I haven't had issues since.

Discount Tire Direct shows the 265/50/20 as 'on order' for all 3 warehouses though.

I think the Toyo Proxes S/T are a good replacement for these if you can't get them. Very similar tread pattern and exact same ratings.

My size was discontinued a while back. 28/35/22
But now I'm going a different route so I can run a softer tire. Probably drop it down a size.
I need better grip & this ride never sees any seasons, but those Hankooks are really good for as hard as they are.
The Yokes seem like a great replacement

That sucks I run these tires on my 22"s luckily I switch back and fourth from my 20" and 22" so I don't put to much wear on them but I like these tires.

Just to UPDATE, this post is correct.. they are almost gone.
I ordered a set of 265/50 & 295/45 today from onlinetires.com and they are shipping the tires from various warehouses.

About due for tires again...

Went to my local shop and the Hankook RH06 are back in stock. A local shop's warehouse has 24 of the 265/40/22 in stock. Must have come back out with them again.

I've noticed they seem easier to find recently. I'm due for a couple rears and a front since toe or something must be off on one side up front. Rears I just didn't rotate.

Oh wait, looks like 265/50/20 isn't in stock, but 295/45/20 is.
