Ill call dealership today and ask if that's the d1s bulbs they use. If it is ill get the d2s version. They wouldn't need any modification or anything right? Just plug the bulb in and go?

I would go with 6000k myself if you want pure white with a small hint of blue the GM products have, also keep in mind they will go from bluish to white overtime with burn in.

Escalade bulbs are not 6000k, they are either 4300k or 5000k. The FX projector is also diff than the escalade projector so it won't look exactly the same.
Depending on year model they started with 4200 but newer ones have 5000

Mine is 2007. I think they are 4300. But the color is beautiful.

So I have the Clear lenses and they have like a tiny riveted section on a part of it near the base. Does this matter where it is? What is it for?

I think it's just part of the mold from their manufacture. It does not affect anything. Once you install, you'll see - the cap goes back on just fine and the lense sits flat.

No no no. There is like a piece of riveted glass on the raised part of lens. Will take pictures later to try and show what I'm talking about

I'll have to look at my lenses when I get home. I don't remember any rivets. I remember there being a section that has raised ridges right where you're showing, but it wasn't riveted.

I put mine on the bottom. not sure whats it for
on the TSX install guide they say to put the ridges at the bottom

Thanks for the pic Dave. So I take that you don't have any problem with the ring being too thick that it bump against the lens as John (TurboCad) mentioned? I have these rings seating in my basement and have not had a chance to install them.

It is against the glass slightly but no issues. Just tighten the housing black into the lens evenly.
