OK I am by now completely frustrated because I have no idea what I might have done.
I have Marus' LED rings installed on my lights. They are connected to the DTRL light. I don't know what came over me, but I decided to put light bulbs back in the DTRL sockets. I think I simply shorted/overloaded the system.
At first I assumed a blown fuse. I checked all the fuses inside of the car 3 times, and the ones in the engine compartment. They all seem fine.

Now here is a weird part.

What works::tup:
My Xenon lights, turn signals and break lights are fine.

What doesn't work::tdown:
My driving lights, tail lights, side markers and LED rings.

Also my seat and steering wheel does not move/go up. - I'm guessing maybe because I pulled all them fuses. But after I reset the system and selected that feature it doesn't do it any more.

What else would any one suggest I check? Before I walk myself onto a wall and bang my head! :mad.::mad.:

You know there is a third fuse box in the battery compartment? Check the headlight fuse there. It kinda tricky to get the box cover open. You have to take the entire battery compartment cover out in order to get to it. I'm pretty sure the headlight fuse is blown in there.

Here is the link to that fuse box. ///10611

Andy, as always, you are a life saver! That's exactly where the problem with the lights was. I didn't want to take the battery out, so just took the plastic trim and voila, there was the 3rd black box. I pulled the burnt 10A fuse, put new one in, and lights came back on. Phew, thanks to you I will be able to sleep. The seat and the steering wheel are still not adjusting though. Even after I disabled and reenabled the feature. :confused::confused:

Will look into it tomorrow after work. I owe you brother :)

u need to get to the one i think behind the battery, black plastic cover which u remove and see the fuses.. that will fix it..

I'll check it out again tomorrow. I was mainly concerned with lights issue. Seat can wait till tomorrow. I think I'll live without auto adjustment for a day lol.

As for the seat and steering wheel, it probably just lost all the settings. I would try to set it up again. I'm pretty sure it should do it.

lol i didnt see the previous post that answered your question..
Well this happened to me once playing around with dtrl, blew a fuse. Also for next time maybe you can disconnect the negative battery. I never have the key in the ignition when working electrical, prior precaution.
