H&R w/ Stock Wheels???

Hey guys, I'm new here and have been looking around for sometime, and am pretty sure I have my 'dream set up' planned out for my soon to be new FX35 but one question still remains...

Will the H&R sport springs work with the stock wheels of a 2007 FX35 (265/60/18)?

If so, does that mean they would work with a 265/40/22 set up? Or would there be a concern with rubbing? Or could I choose a wider tire (305/40/22)? There are a ton of potholes around Edmonton and think a 35tire would be too thin, but I love the dropped look.

Any help would be great.

Welcome to the Scene and a simple answer for you...YES

im running the same setup as you just mentioned

265/40/22 will also work perfectly...that is pretty much stock size. i think 285 is the most you can go before you start getting rubbing issues

Welcome to the scene.

I loved the H&Rs, rubbing has to do with offset and tire sizing. 305/40-22 won't rub with the right offset wheel. You'd be surprised how well the Pirelli 305/35-22 rides, only problem is it's on the expensive side and the only tire in that size to choose from.

We'll help on wheel offsets when you're ready.
