wassup guys when I compressed my springs for install I scraped a good chunk of the grey coating on spring the area is as long as half of your finger and as wide as your finger? WIll this rust and what can I use to cover it up if it is going to rust?

It will rust since you live up north. You can cover it with spray paint. When I had H&R's, I had the shop cut 1/2 a coil and they painted over the cut portion. In 2 years on the car, it never rusted.

just regular krylon spray paint? or what do you recommend?

Probably any paint that can be used on metal. I think they used caliper spray paint since it's meant to be outside. But I would imagine that any spray paint would work as long as it sticks to metal.

Just clean the scraped portion out and spray/brush couple coat of Rustoleum paint and then a couple coat of clear to protect it.
