Ok guys, so I'm going to get my H&R springs.

I'm going to get them from ebay.

Here is the link:

Would you guys think this is a good and honest seller?

I should be getting them on Tuesday if all is well.

Let me know what you think. He is local. His shop is in La Habra. He told me that he is always in my area and would meet me somewhere so I don't have to pay shipping.

Does that sound right? Too nice of a guy? what do you guys think?

I need some feed back.

:iS:

Why do you need?
He's already got great feedback. I would trust him for sure.
Are you sure you want H&R though? Eibachs rule, & they give you more drop.

I dont know about trusting anyone on ebay, IMO. My cousin bought a camera from a guy with 100% feedback and never received the camera.

Any know why that is? The H&R's are listed to be lower than Eibachs.

ahh dont listen to dave:laugh: i heard great things with h&rs , might not be the greatest drop but i heard eibachs ride horrible, sry dave no hatin haha

I wouldn't say eibach's ride terrible, but stiffer then the H&R's. All depends on what you want.

Eibachs drive great period. Ya they're a little stiffer, but they handle better. I dont like a floaty feel.
I have no problem enduring long trips. I say drive both if you're undecided.

oh, jc, I gotta drive your fx to feel the eibachs... I always heard they ride very hard too, that's why I went h&r...

Looks like a decent post, his feed back is at 99%. I got the HR's installed last week and liking the ride. The only reason why i didnt get eibachs was cuz of this post:

Any how to each his own, not hating though on the eibachs....

then again rookie says it all, just read this thread:

Carlos...

Pierce, Humberto, Dave, Will and I are ALL on Eibach...

Thanks guys for all the feed back. Yeah I'm sure I can trust him. He is actually going to deliver them. So I'm just going to meet them.

Well, I have heard that the H&R's give a better ride and the Eibachs are a good spring also, but much stiffer. I prefer a softer ride over stiffness.

Do any of you know of a good place to go to get them installed. My wheel guy said he can install them for $200. Then I would have to take it to get alligned.

Is that a good price?

200 is very fair if he knows what he's doing.
Are you AWD or RWD?

Carlos just make sure on the actual part number - i remember they were sending out the wrong parts a couple years back.

H&R Part number 53043

As someone else pointed out.....check this thread from Rookie:

Oh yeah Will. I remember the thread on here that Rookie wrote down the H&R part number. That is how I searched for the springs. Thanks for looking out.

Yeah, he has been doing it for years. He pretty much works on Infiniti, Lexus and BMW. When I was getting my wheels installed, he was lowering a Lesis IS350.

I have been going there for years, so I think he appreciates my business.

He is located in Glendale.

My FX is RWD.

It does. when you get the springs put in, have your guy install the rear sway bar from the AWD model. RWD does not come with one from the factory. It's a proven mod, & all the parts can be ordered from Joe.
Your ride will feel better planted.

That's why I asked
