Greetings,

I've seen some sporty FXs on this forum and most are sporting 25mm spacers. I want to install a set, but do I need to purchase an alignmnet kit if I keep my factory 20" wheel? Thanks

Yup. Springs and spacers make that subtle change most ppeople cant spot but know there is something different lol

You should, I never got around to it. Doesnt seem like there is any uneven wear on the tires. But I probably drove 2k miles tops after springs install. If you buy new springs let them settle for a month or so before doing the alignment.

what is the best way to install H&R spacers? I just bought some 25mm spacers and i have seen videos in which people put anti seize lubricant before installing them. I have also seeing some install videos where the studs are cut.

Not trying to thread jack but does anyone have pics of before and after with spacers as i'm not seeing what they do. I had rims on previous cars but never needed spacers. I see a lot of guys on here have spacers but i can't tell the difference

They "flush" out your wheels. Meaning the wheels will be flush with your fenders and not "sunk" in. There are plenty of pics just search

Does anyone have serious mileage on a Gen 2 with H&R springs? Like 20K plus miles? If so, what has the tire wear been over the long run.

I love the look, but I'll put 15K on a year and simply can't afford to burn up tires.

I don't think spacers have any effect on tire wear. Springs/coils yes, but spacers? Doubt it

Yeah, I jacked the thread. Was asking about springs, not spacers.

They improve it since the wheels are pushed out more. Nothing drastic, but helps
