+1 I'm running 265/40/22's w/H&R's love the set up! Maybe it's just me but I think the ride is better than stock and in conjunjunction with the bracing it feels much more planted to the road on hard cornering. I think the H&R's are made of a heavier gauge spring. Maybe we could get an OD on gauge on both springs and compare that as well. Thanks, I think some of it has to do with using 265/40/22 tires where a lot of others use 285/35/22. 265/40/22 are thicker and closer to OEM tire height (slightly less than oem tire height). Being a FX45 too is slightly heavier.
I have H&R's, did a cold cut on the front springs and very happy with the ride.
Exactly how much did you cut the front's?
if I may.... 1/2 in the front is the going rate![]()

Well written, made me smile.
or buy eibachs![]()
EIbachs are stiffer, and will drop you down a little more. (sportier look/feel)
H&Rs will drop you less but will be closer to stock ride-wise; not as stiff.
they are around the same price, so it really depends on what you want. sportier look/feel or a little more comfortable.
I have eibachs and recommend them
