I'm thinking of dropping my can on 22x10.5 Niche Circuit M110. How much will the car drop? Does the camber issue make the tire wear very excessive? How often will I need to change my tires if I daily drive my car?6fe632e9ccde79eb34c6c6192f39248e.jpg

I have mine on bc coils and so does one of my boys out here in LA. Depending on the drop with coils, you will def get inner tire wear pretty bad actually. I don't drive my Fx daily so I haven't replaced mine yet but I have put around 2k miles with the drop so far and there is inner tire wear but my boy drives his everyday and his tires lasted only 7 months, he's on coils as well. Regarding springs I used to have H&R springs and those caused inner tire wear as well but not as bad as coils. Also don't go with Eibachs they are known to snap and also have been discontinued.

Wow it looks amazing! Does anyone out there know how long the tires will last on h&r springs?

I have been dropped on H&R springs for 2 years , i drive my fx daily and put on a fresh set of tires around the same time as the drop ...my tires are still in pretty good shape ...a little uneven wear but otherwise fine. And it rides great

Thanks! Would you say that it's about time to change now? How many more miles do you think you can drive with those tires?

Tire wear is going to be highly dependent on the tire. Some will last much longer than others. If you drop it and can get the toe back into spec, your tire wear will be improved. Camber has less impact than toe. Plus you can also flip tires to get more life out of them. Swap the left for the right if they're not side specific (not the entire wheel, but unmount driver's side tire and mount on passenger side and vice versa). Basically doubles the life of the tire. Lots of the stance guys do it since they're running -5 or -6 camber which is way more than you'd see on lowering springs. I got 10k out of one side of my old Yokohama Advans and had 5K on the 2nd side when I switched wheels. So it could have gone 20K miles which isn't terrible for as much camber as I had.

On my 2nd Gen I could not get my toe back near spec as well as camber with lowering springs, so I removed my springs since I cannot put up with excessive tire wear.

How bad was the toe? I agree that if toe isn't in spec, the tires will wear very poorly and if you drive a lot it's a bad idea.

I don't know about 1st gen but on my 2nd gen the shop tried their best to get my toe back in spec and they couldn't either. Wish I had my readings
