He looks like an honest guy, like the Burgess Meredith of used cars....

Classic used car sales mentality only this time it was broadcast out for everyone to see/feel. This is an example case, though the difference in dollars isn't large dealer should be held accountable and more for their actions.

Honda San Marcos owner Randall Ammons returned our request for a comment. Ammons told us that the dealership plans on honoring the agreed upon eBay auction price. Ammons said over the phone, “Bottom line, the person who listed it did so incorrectly; that’s our fault.” Ammons continued, “We spent years getting a great reputation, and a deal’s a deal, we’re going to honor it.” Ammons said they’ve contacted Vang and are currently waiting to hear back from him. While Honda San Marcos’ initial reaction might not have been the best, we applaud Ammons for making things right. Mr. Vang, if you’re reading this, get in contact with them – Godzilla’s waiting!

Don't mean to jack the thread. But by next year I plan on getting a GTR. Not a definite but I've been a huge fan of them. The g/f would have the fx so I could take it whenever. She drives a scion tc and its not that great in the winter so the fx would be perfect for her + she loves it.

Just make sure you buy from an owner who doesn't know what launch control is so hopefully they haven't used it. If this Honda dealer wanted to screw the guy over they could just launch control up and down their street a few times.

When I'm out of law/grad school I will probably look to buy a GTR (by then the '12 will be a few years old) because I won't need a large SUV (most likely moving tot he city)

I know that sounds like I'm reaching for the stars but by then they'll be just as cheap as the 09's are now, $50K ish.
