Would anyone who has installed any of the GTSPEC brace products share their experience (installation, ride comfort, handling/cornering, going over bumps, ground clearance, etc) with us? I'm thinking about installing them.

A bunch of us bought the GTSPEC FSTB and you can read the reports here: ///11105&page=10
I don't know of anyone here that has installed the under braces yet on the 2nd Gen FX. I believe nyqueenz purchased some of the under braces for his FX50but has not reported on them yet.
There are a few of us that are interested in them.

the STB and rear bars are nice for handling, but once you install all of the under bodies and everything it destroys ride quality

I dont get that. More body flex doesnt equate to better chassis comfort

I swear on my other car with a strut brace the ride got worse. Since a strut brace connects the two strut towers together. Anytime I'd hit a bump on one side, the harshness of the impact transferred to the other side. My friends G37 is the same. One reason why he removed his.

Button up the top & bottom & ride quality gets better. Everything starts at the ground & works it's way up. The better connected you are to the tires & suspention, the ride should feel better too. First thing I noticed with bracing is how steady the wheel was to road irregularity. Gave it a lux feel, almost a numb feel to vibration.

The strut bar on the FX adds to the overall quality of ride and stability on cornering... It is a very noticeable improvement... I can see where adding "all" of the bars may make the car more stiff and hit the bumps in a less forgiving manner, but the strut bar alone does NOT lower ride quality... It is a very worthwhile mod! Every application is different, in this case it is a GO!
