GTS-SUS-1396 GTSPEC Mid Chassis Brace For 2003-2011 Infiniti FX35/45/50 comes tomorrow. Thanks for the fast shipping Charles.

As a heads-up, the shipping weight is only 6 lbs! So should be around 4-5 lbs.

Nice one Ed, seems like you'll never run out of mods to do... I need something to do, anything lol. :mad.:

Ian, why don't you get the mid chassis? Out of all the braces, it's the best deal bar none in terms of MSRP discount and shipping discount.

It's also one that fits both 1st and 2nd generation in case you ever want to re-sell it.

Also, it's the largest GTSpec brace and one that Andy noticed a difference.

What about the full aero kit??

^ How can you argue with that logic Ian? I ordered another lower lateral and the second to last under panel.......i also spoke directly with GTS these parts will soon become very difficult to find snd leadtimes with GB's will be very long.

Thanks guys, but I'm happy with the strut bar as is.. I just saw the front aero lip for the first time today at the dealer and I quite like it.. I will get it next year pending if a solution to the camber drop is ever addressed. I feel that the aero kit looks best when the car is dropped.. Slim, pickens for 2nd gen mods.. I need that intake to be developed.

Another lower lateral?

Blew the last one out on a crazy root road bump in the hood. Possible driver error? (I feel like it could have been prevented) willing to give it another try.......

just purchased the front strut bar can't wait to get it. Thanks Charles for all the help and thanks Adrian for taking the order when i called.

Just received my gtspec front strut brace would have gotten it last night but I missed the UPS guy. That was fast shipping. Now I'm trying to install it but I'm having issues trying to get the bolts off where the strut goes. The bolts appear to be stuck and I have drenched it wd40 to loosen hem up but no luck so far

WD40 is not the best stuff. I would use PB plaster. Sold at the local hard auto parts store. Also if they are really that tight. Make sure you are using a 6 point socket. Don't want to round the nuts off. Once you have sprayed with PB plaster. Get a breaker bar to help. Or that doesn't work you might have to use an impact gun.

I had trouble my first time removing also, i didnt have pb blaster, hammer and a ratchet did the trick. Remember to rotate counterclockwise, hammering helps better than using just a ratchet and hanging from the end. If i had a breaker bar and/or pb blaster would of done the job in 2 seconds.

How many more mid's in stock?

First real mod I ever did was the STB and it was probably the first time I had ever loosened any bolt on a car. The key for me was to actually hit the handle of the ratchet with my palm. Just pushing on it didn't work, but the sudden pop broke them all loose.

I went to home depot and bought a breaker bar and some pb blaster and that did the trick in a matter of minutes. The old man that showed me where the PB blaster told me WD40 sucks and to just use PB blaster. This was the first time I had ever heard of PB Blaster. One quick question when I installed the strut bar did these pieces have to come off?a689881b-45ee-32cf.jpg they were underneath the bolts.
