The minute I drove my car after I install the STB, I notice right away that I needed some bracing in the rear. This brace does the job really well. It was my second GTSPEC brace that I install on my car. Quality well made as expected from GTSPEC. Very nice price for the added value. This brace and the STB are a must if you plan not to have the entire GTSPEC FX production line on your car.

If you have the GTSPEC front strut brace then you need to complete the package by getting the rear lower lateral brace. I drove around for months with just the strut brace on a lower FX and thought the handling was fantastic. The day I installed the rear lateral brace, I immediately felt the difference from spirited driving. I was very skeptical that this bar would really be beneficial for the handling, but I was amazed. It really tightens the rear end up through curves and turns and I could truly say I felt the difference in handling before and after. Of course, you will truly benefit from these bars if your FX is lowered.

Most reviewers might have have the awd option for the FX, basically they got rear sway bar to work with. I got the rwd Fx and w/o rear sway bar. After installing the brace i did not feel a difference at normal speeds and high speeds. I thought my handling would improve 50% well i hardly got 10% out of this brace.

I did the R&D on the FX's with my FX45 (shown in the rusty exhaust pic above). amazed how a piece of aluminum can help tighten the rear up for bumpy road conditions like I have in NY.
