GTSPEC New 4 Points Mid Chassis Brace For FX35 (first Gen)

Yup, a video is needed. Make use of your GoPro cam :smile (2): Pic not gonna do it this time.
:hahaha: "I'm going a little too fast for how much I need to turn". Anyhow glad to hear the brace is doing what it suppose to do. :top:

Picked one up from a member and finally got it installed. I managed to bottom it out in under 100 ft. from my parking spot. High centered it leaving my building's driveway. I clear this every day without issues and some days in my much lower 335i. I guess the FX's longer wheelbase made the difference. So no more speed bumps for me. In better news, it surprisingly did make a difference. Turn in is slightly quicker and the car feels a little more composed. I run very stiff suspension so the car normally squeaks/rattles over bad roads. That was minimized quite a bit; for that alone, this bar is worth it. It seems to make a bigger difference than the lower engine brace and a much bigger difference than the rear lower lateral.

Hard to tell in this pic, but it hangs evenly with lower rear lateral. But it's right in the middle of the car which causes the clearance problem.

Ahhh this must be what I hit when I scrape on the speed bumps from hell we have at work. I thought it was my exhaust bolts, although I think I rearranged those so they don't point down. I can make it over if I go super slow, but any speed is enough to compress the front suspension on the back side of the bump and just scrape a little.

I will have to check the finish sometime, and double check if I moved those bolts.

Totally agreed with your review on the Mid Chassis brace. Even someone (my sister) not a car enthusiast notice the improvement this Mid Chassis brace provided. :smile (2):
