This is a must have brace if you're looking to IMPROVE on the FX's handling. This was my first GTSPEC brace that I install on my car. At the time, there are other brand available for the FX and I decided to go with GTSPEC due it quality and the heavy duty look, but without the added weight. Very well made and high quality product.

I agree with what the other members have said, it is def worth the $ and IMO there is night and day difference with such an inexpensive mod. Def a must buy

A front strut brace is a must have for the FX. It makes the chassis more rigid and less prone to flexing during cornering and spirited driving. It improves the steering feel and handling of the vehicle. Installation is very straight forward bolt on installation. Remove the three bolts on each side and re-torque them to 35lb ft. There aren't that many choices of strut braces for the FX, but the GTSPEC one by bar is the best looking and "beefiest" one you can buy. Not only does it improve your steering and handling it dresses up the engine bay by a tenfold. If you have a 2006-2008 FX45, it will not clear the raised engine cover. You will either have to remove it or cut into the cover for it to clear.
