GTR wheels in the winter?

so much hate in running GTR rims in the winter :disapointed:. I wanted to do this as well, as it would look nice against the white snow.... I live in Alberta, Canada so we get a ton of snow. Anybody here with that put on GTR rims for winter in a place that has a lot of snow?

How much salt do they put on the roads, that is the main reason not to run good wheels in the winter. I would never run them in Ontario, but I do think they use much less road salt out west.

I've driven with mine on in light snow and it was just okay. In Seattle snow isn't really an issue but I don't like storing extra sets of wheels. Right now I have two extra sets and its making me itch.
