gto's FX :: 2005 FX 35 RWD SPRT

Sporster family. It's called the Nightster. The riding position is a bit more comfortable. The mirrors are also on top of the bars. Same bike for the most part.

Do you know if it has the same 1200 that Buell uses? I used to have a friend with a Sportster that had heads/cams from a Buell Lightning. It would beat my '87 GSX-R750 to about 90mph. Scary amount of torque out of those 1200s...

Not sure. I can tell you though that the torque is pretty crazy . . & it comes on really low. This thing is really fast out of the hole.

Fun day.
Client of mine has just finished restoration on a '66 Citabria taildragger. Plane is like, better than new. Only 6 hrs on the engine . . 150 horse. Got it up to about 4000ft, did some tight turns pulling 3Gs. I think it's capable of 6. I got to fly it myself. Pretty much just a stick for control & power. Here are some pics.

Talk about oil companies destroying the landscape. That first one looks like it could be a scene from a 2010 Mad Max remake...

The FX looks great though. :tongue (2):

Thanks Guys.
Baldwin Hills/Ladera Hts area. It's a real gloomy area. These Pumpjacks just litter the hills. Tons of power lines too. It's quite eerie, & the hum from those things is scary

thats actually one of my favorite places in LA... its so out of place... like the weird brick factory on highland and santa monica

Here's another clip.
We have a really good camera to use now. It's one of those car mount ones that shoots HD w/ a mount. Time to get creative now. The quality is badass. This is our first time using it, & We took this the shot mounted on the Z06 dash, but it's orientation was wrong. I had to flip & crop the video, so it lost it's hi res a bit, & something was squeaking a bit. Ya gotta excuse some of the slower driving spots, but we were waiting for the road to clear as some douche bags got in front of us at the start. We also tame it down in the populated areas cuz there are cops, & some road work, so the track is a bit fcked in the middle. We did get some good speed at some spots. FX handles like a king. Who needs them Euro cars, lol.
