:rotfl: You call who handy andy? I know it ain't me. Cause, I was under a 2nd Gen fixing up it rear camber. Be sure to report back on the BBK feels.

Nice! Good pad choice too. I almost went with the Akebono upgrade but didn't want to fiddle around with the additional parts after you scooped the last adapter. Also couldn't quite find it for a good enough price and needed new brakes.

Stu, What did you end up doing?
And Sorry bout the adapter, but I think I reserved mine when there were 10 left. They did go pretty qwik. Doing fronts, which is all I did for the moment, feels like a no brainer since it's such a direct fit. They need to be bled again though. Pedal feels too soft right
Now & I think there's air somewhere. My only review so far is that they seem to bite real well, and surprisingly, these are soooo quiet. Maybe this is the miracle pad we've all been searching for. Quiet, easy on rotor and track friendly. Hoping

I went with R1 concepts slotted and Hawk HPS pads. Just a straight forward, no nonsense option that seems to be working fine. I also had an issue where my pedal felt soft last night after everything was installed and bled, but this morning it seemed much better. Not sure if that even can happen but I don't know. I'm hesitant to bleed again because I don't want to crack open my extra bottle of brake fluid since I won't use most of it and would have to throw out the rest. I don't think I quite have enough left in the bleeder either.

They seem to have good bite and everything. My old pads and rotors looked to still be usable but just weren't cutting it.

Can't beat the look of that big caliper up front that you have though. :good:

That sounds like a good combo. I'm sure you're happy about getting rid of the rusty rotors. Hawks are good & have served me well.
Did you change all 4?

Yeah I did all new rotors, pads, and brake fluid. First time I've done the brakes myself actually as all previous times it happened to be where I didn't have time to mess with it and just had the dealer do it.

Left the lines as is. Probably would have been worth switching to stainless braided but I didn't want to add more work. I don't think I realized how simple it would have been.

For fluid I used ATE type 200, which is DOT4.

Sweet. I used the same . . the 200 gold.
We went through 1/2 a liter just to fill the new front pots :/

I didn't realize how quickly bleeding goes. I think I drained new fluid for a little bit on the first caliper. I ended up using a second bottle so I could compare and would take out a little at a time and look at the color. I probably used 1/2 of the bottle, but I had a decent amount left over that is dirty now and can't be used. I don't think the FSM actually lists how much fluid the lines hold, but I guess with how small they are it's not a lot.
