If anyone's interested and missed out on the group buy for the GT Spec Suspension, I just did a search online and purchased the full set for under $900 from https://www.upscaleautomotive.com. I did a whois check on their site and they're based out of South Carolina so hopefully shipping will be pretty fast.

have you call to see if they have the GTspec stuff in stock?

Because I have spoke with GTSPEC and they told me to contact Z1 to order so they can make them overseas.
Most dealers will list parts and not have them in inventory.

also, looks like from their website, they only do web sales with no street location. that means no warehouse, which means drop ship from New York (GTSPEC).
Maybe Im wrong but good luck ordering.

+1 on this. Previous to the latest Z1 GB, I contacted an ebay seller about the STB. He didn't have it in stock and it'd come about the same time with Z1.

Good Catch, went through this with my struts/shocks. They will take your money and you may or may not get an email telling you that they are on backorder. Definitely a good idea to call and confirm.
 
I got a reply from Upscale Automotive today so I'm keeping my fingers crossed:

Thank you for your order and for checking in. These braces are all in stock. Please keep an eye out for a shipment/tracking notification via e-mail in the next day or so once we have received tracking information into our system. Your oil filter has already shipped.

We wanted to post a response in this thread regarding the current stock status of the GT Spec FX35/FX45 braces in order to help iS members avoid any inconvenience when ordering.

Our warehouse manager has informed us that these items showed to be in stock but actually were not, each time stock was checked recently. There was a large order placed which consumed all stock on-hand, yet the inventory system did not reflect this in real-time. The ETA for the GT Spec FX35/FX45 is currently 2 weeks, or mid-March. No one will be shipping these bars any sooner as the backorder is direct with GT Spec. We have made a note about this backorder on the item pages on our website at http://www.UpscaleAutomotive.com. We apologize that these items are not on hand at this time.

It is our goal for our customers get the quality items that they want and need for their vehicles as quickly as possible, therefore we suggest placing a pre-order in order to receive these items as soon as possible as these are sure to sell out before the next batch is ready. Anyone who would rather not place a pre-order but would still like to order these items once in stock again is encouraged to contact us at sales@upscaleautomotive.com closer to the ETA of 3/12 to check stock before ordering.
 
Where is this warehouse of yours located? I assume it would be shipped directly from there then, and not shipped out from New York?

Yep, I know. I was just wondering if they're passing off their own "warehouse" to be one in the same as GTSPEC's. I just find it odd that both Z1 and GTSPEC are out of braces and it just so happens that this new place recently sold all of theirs and didn't get a chance to update their inventory accordingly. Did they sell many on the org? I don't know of any other place besides here that's able to make any large purchases of any single FX aftermarket item.

They make such a small batch because a majority of the people with FXs who actually want them already have them (via the 2 group buys :tongue:) and neither GTSPEC nor Z1 want to keep these in stock for fear of them sitting on the shelf for years.

Wow, that's not good. Are you sure it's lost? My order magically went from Secaucus, NJ to Dallas, TX after a few days, with no updates to tracking number. Also, the box had a bit of a tear in it. But everything seems ok, won't know until after install.

GTSPEC (Ken) is probably getting calls inquiring about them now.. :wub:

also I dont think 2 weeks is enough time for them to get here, just IMO.
I would buy more braces also, but they never have them in stock. Just special order.
 
Trigger pulled

I went for it just in case there was any chance I could get these braces. I read the buying policy and they say shipment will occur within 14 days. If circumstances are such that the parts will be delayed much longer than that, an email will be sent asking if you want to wait or cancel the order.
