I am the proud new owner of a 2011 FX50S. I have been driving a '96 Miata for a few years so the change is definitely in the luxurious direction.

The first thing I'll be searching for is how to adjust the headlights, they need to go a little bit more "up". Other than that, I'm very content with the new car smell, for now.

Im envious. I want the fx50 so bad. Every time some little ricer blows by me and thinks they are fast... I feel like the 50 could probably surprise a wrx or similar off the line.

I definitely know the feeling. My Miata handles great but might be the slowest thing on the road. Not to mention no A/C or heat so when I had to defrost the "inside" of the windshield by hand this winter I decided that I did in fact deserve a nicer vehicle. That and the whole safety aspect of being able to see and all.

Now after a few weeks driving, I have gotten used to some of the new-ness, I'm not going 80mph all the time like I did initially. The controls are more familiar. I'm going to pace myself though so I can enjoy the transition from go-kart as long as possible.
