Apologize for the bonehead move...

I was installing the switch for the navigation bypass switch so that I could enter in addresses while the car was moving and doing so, I accidentally cut the wrong wire. I thought I reconnected it but now I notice that when I got to GPS info, it says out of range and I notice that my GPS navigation is not working correctly. I have attached a picture of the wire that I accidently cut. Anyone know what the wire circle in red does? Could it be I didn't reconnect the wire like I thought I did? Or is there anything I could do in order to sync up the satellite signal again? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used the splice connectors to re-connect the wires together. The seat was in the way so the quickest was to splice the two together. I guess I have to take out the seat in order to get more room and more slack on the wire to connected them together. You think that is the reason why the Satellite is out of range?
