Got my car broken into

thnxs everyone for the support yea the economy is tuff right and i wish the crime rate did not go up.

Sorry Dopie, that really sucks. And I feel bad for your wife, big headache losing a purse with probably her drivers license, credit cards, and personal stuff.

Doc is right. A Smash and grab is not going to be stopped by an alarm...no matter how nice an alarm you have. I've been a victim 4 times (luckily non with the fx..knock knock knock) on my old show truck. 2x they tried to take the whole car, but a hidden kill switch, alarm, and code punch kept them from taking it. They messed up my ignition, punched out the door locks, and had the windows broken. BUT, that still didn't stop them from getting my system twice, a couple jackets, cd's, even the owners manual !

Being honest, how many times do you hear an alarm going off and not even pay attention. It could be going off right next to you and I bet you dont even turn your head. Even the pager alarms are nice, but if your in the mall....the pager goes off....by the time you get out to your car... your window is broken....all the loose stuff inside is gone.....There in and out in no more than 30 seconds.

My ex-girlfriend had her car broken into right outside our apartment. She had a great alarm, we were outside in 20 seconds..we had barely caught a glipse of their get-away car...they had smashed her window and jacked her high end radio in less than 20 seconds! luckily they were caught due to us seeing the car, they had hit 2 cars in our complex, and their trunk was filled with radios.
 
That sucks. I never leave anything in sight in my cars. I agree that car alarms are basically useless nowadays.
 
When I graduated high school somebody broke into my truck at home and stole my senior yearbook and 40 bucks I had in the glove box. Punks
 
srry to hear that man....i had punks rob my system from my truck along with my insurance papers last year...they also targeted 4 other homes on the same street...broken in cars...garages etc...it was diffantly being watched for sometime...remeber ppl do not leave your garage door opener control on your visor ive seen thieves break in press the remote and rob your things from the garage...heres what the idiots did to my baby

but yea right now im orderin my VIPER ALARM 5901 with REMOTE STARTER and stuff
so hopefully its loud enough for me to hear and be able to catch them or even ill install a camera in the car =]=]

Man that was awful. When it was snowing also. Bastards. :mad:
 
That was messed up!! Whoever did that went crazy braking windows. I'm glad my baby for the must part it's parked In a military base. The only thing I need to worry about is those freaking dints!
 
they they are fixed now just got it back monday now need to get my fix it ticket resolved and put back my limo tints on the front

Stupid ticket to give implies the officer is at fault, stupid ticket to get would imply that the person receiving the ticket is at fault. I don't think you can complain about an officer doing his job.
