Got my car broken into

I just got my car broken into about 8:30 p.m. in garden grove stole my wifes purse and nothing else
my passenger side window is now broken and wow

F*** you who ever did this

i HIGHElY recommend gettin better alarm system for the car because mine was only door trigger so i dont know if that comes like that in all models but mine is. this means im gettin VIPER or WASP alarm tommrow ASAP after i get my window fixed
 
yea they stuck a fvken flat head screw driver into the bottom left window corner to break the window

no it wasnt it was a random hit most likly
because her purse was hidden all the way in the back of the floor on the passenger side it was seriously out of plane site.
i am wonderin why they didnt jack the detector but back to the topic her purse was hidden in view and my windows are tinted and yea there was a bag infront of the purse so it would block it but still it got JACKED

and im lookin for alarm systems right now and dave can you give me a good tip on these 2 they are the same brand but dont know if it is legit or not

Sorry to hear about the misfortune dopie. But even with a viper or other aftermarket alarm system they can still break your window if they want it bad enough. Best advice is to never leave anything readily visible from the outside such ad a purse, wallet, briefcase, backpack, etc... Takes less then 10 seconds to break a window and take what's sitting on the seat especially the front because it is so viewable.

Edit...I see now that the purse was not readily visible. I guess they just hit your car cause it looked expensive and they thought you had some valuable in there.
 
I know back in when i lived in Jersey. Car thieves would more than likely break into cars that have tinted windows verses not tinted just to see what they could find.
In your case, it pretty hard to tell what they were looking for. Most likely random, but like the Doc said an alarm is not going to stop anyone from breaking in. It's good to have one, but all their good for is bringing attention to your car.

But you already know that, the part that sucks is the hassle replacing ID’s and credit cards.

I feel for you man.

damn bro that sucks!!!!!! u know what...right now in a economy this bad...alota fuckers will do anything for a quick buck. everyone be careful...there has been 3 robberies in Arcadia in the last 4 months. Pretty high considering this is supposed to be a safe city.
 
Only one way to find out if its legit. Click "Buy", lol. But that is a big difference in price. I would give it try.

Sorry to hear that dopie .. I live in Jersey, I've seen and heard my share of stories of cars broken into. I've had 3 cars stolen from me since I've been driving.

I feel for you . I had my Portable GPS stolen from the Arcadia Mall (westfield) when I had it in a Honda. Same thing.. smash and grab. I was parked far away from the entrance.

I wish they make a alarm that can shock (electricity) a thief if they try to "touch the car"

or have a alarm with a camera that can display an image (on your remote) once the alarms triggers. ( I know some grad students working on this) .


*Well always park in a area with more people around. try not to park to far away from traffic. even though door ding possibility goes higher :tears:
 
Sorry to hear that bro.. Gladly whoever did it wasn't smart enough to look carefully in your FX and also didn't cause any more damage. What is going to be the cost for fixing the window?

If I ever caught anyone messing with mine I'm afraid I would
wind up in jail because there would be no restraint on what
