Good deal on a used 2005 fx35

I'm new to site and looking to purchase a used fx35. What would you guys say a good price would be on an 05 fx35 AWD with 85k? This is a second owner car and the current owners are an older couple and have taken very good care of it. The first was a lady that leased it. No accidents and just a few light imperfections in the paint. Dash was replaced under warranty. Really an honest guy and seems to love the car very much. I'm located in northwest Arkansas. Any tips or advise is appreciated.

check on craigslist, see whats the lowest price and highest price in your area and go on from there
 
What was his asking price? Maybe we can have a more solid opinion with a number to work with. There are many knowlegeable members here who can chime in.

BTW, what are you willing to pay? There might be better options out there with fewer miles.
 
A good deal for an FX like that (for my area) is around 17k. A really good deal would be under 15k

12k sounds like a steal! I would Craigslist it or Kelly blue book and kind of see where numbers land on it. Don't forget asking price and selling price can be different. I would also look for several options....including a 45!
 
The seller was asking $16,500 and I got him to 16,000. He's not budging much from there.

I didn't think the milage was too bad with an Average of 12k a year. These things last for a few 100k with proper maintenance right? I searched Craigslist but not many in the area.
 
That's a little on the high side^ I think u can get a 06 with the better interior for that price.
