Hello IS forum members, this forum is kinda hilarious coming from a previous "IS"300 driver. But anyway....
First of all, I want to thank this forum for expanding my research on contemplating whether my next baby is going to be an FX or not. The Garage section mos def gave the final blow in what a beast these cars can become.
My story is ... one sunday night, after shooting some hoots and kicking ass! I was coming out of my church parking lot and as im creeping out the driveway ( waiting for cars to clear so i can turn onto the street) , an SUV loses control of the car , climbs onto the sidewalk, and SMASH! :mad.::mad.::mad.: into the driver's side (me) going roughly 35 mph.

This MOFO not only totaled my bumblebee but also fucked up my body. So as I am recovering from multiple surgeries and physical therapy, I am waiting on this fat check coming soon =) muhahahaha.
Even though I am a die hard lexus is300 fan , 2JZ FTW <333, I need something more practical of my environment and sporty at the same time.
I was thinking of getting an SUV/Jeep because NYC winter BLOWS the BIGGEST COCK there ever is, cars on my block are creative in making their own parking spots lol. Well after looking at Grand Cherokee SRT, MDX, RDX, Range Rover Sport, and X5, I wasn't really satisfied, so i looked into the FX and HELLOO! After my first test drive, I just fell in love.
So, which year from the first gen has the least amounts of problems and which color should i choose? I was thinking about going White FX , blacked out, with red accents. hmmmm. what do ya'll think?
