My gold emblems on my car are wearing off. Yes, tacky yada yada yada lol

But I was wondering if there is an gold spray paint for the OEM color to make it look as shiny as the way I bought the car?

Thanks!

lol, just paint em black, depending on the color I would even bother because you might not find the right match and while your there painting, you might as well get new ones or paint em black..

I was debating on that and thinking about just blacking out my FX. I believe it would look good BUT I wanted to sort of mix it up and make mine stand out amongst the "murdered out" FX's.

This is a picture of my black grille with the gold emblem. It doesn't look bad. Next I'm doing the wheels, then debadging the FX35 emblem on the back. It's something new, but it doesn't look bad IMO.

I don't mind the gold but spray paint? It's gonna be tough to keep that from looking ghe-tto... :err:

Take it to a pro and have them painted once.

EDIT: *have them painted ONLY once.

It doesn't have to be spray paint, it can be anything. I just want it to look shiny the way I bought it.. WITHOUT having to buy another emblem lol

Paint will look like junk.
You can take it to a plater and have it professionally done. Unless you're doing a bunch of emblems, it'll probably be cheaper to just buy a new one.

Infiniti does not sell gold emblems. The chrome one would need to be bought then electro-plated gold.

No paint will match what you have now.

yes they do, you can buy the gold emblems from the dealer and order it from the factory.

I guess the way the dealer markets them is not true then. Either way, you can still go to a dealer and order a set.

We used to get the emblems done alot years ago for older Maximas and I30s and we would send them out to a company that would plate em and have them back in 2 or 3 days. I have not seen a gold emblem in years.

If I were to buy an emblem from the dealer.. to get it electroplated they would charge extra I'm assuming?

Whether it's electro-chrome, chrome dip, vacuum metalized, nickel plated, or zinc plated, any pro will likely want a set-up charge. It might be hard to justify doing only 1 part.
