Go with the 20s or 22s

What is the weight of the 20's on the 09' 35? The 06'-08' OEM 20's are 41lbs. The 22x9 G Spideros are 36Lbs. The 22x10.5's G Spideros are 40Lbs.

Has anyone run the 10.5's or are they too wide?

THE STOCK 20"S ARE 41 LBS? W/ TIRES RIGHT??? If rims alone at 41lbs, that's ridiculously heavy!

Yeah, the stockers are meaty. What is the weight on the Axxis 20's? If you are talking a difference of 10-15lbs. per wheel over stock you will feel the difference in rolling starts, cornering and braking.

why not go bigger than 22? theres plenty of room in that wheel well, everything looks small in it. i went with 24's, id love to post some pics up but im new to the forum asnd dont have enough posts.

22 are more common, 24 so common .... seems too big imo. also ride will suffer due to the thinner tire.

+1, it's a personal choice but the FX is a sport ride, to roll all pimp style with massive X-tremely heavy wheels defeats the vehicles inherent cornering, acceleration and braking abilities. To each his own.......

Youre right about the wheels being heavier, it does effect acceleration and braking. But its so minimal that 95% of people wouldnt even notice a difference. The cornering, however, is actually better since we usually go wider on rim and tire (and offset) when we go with bigger wheels resulting in more rubber touching the floor and a wider wheelbase. Wider is always better for cornering, traction, and getting rid of some bodyroll.

**plus a quality wheel isnt always insanely heavy, especially if you go forged.

Yes, wider is better but there would be a limit to how wide you can go without affecting turning/cornering ability. Also, I doubt the ride quality is better with 24's with so little rubber.
