It took me roughly 3.5 hours between 2 days. Once you get the hang of it, you just keep going. Having the heat gun is what makes this an easy DIY. The hardest part is probably the most tedious part, cutting out the holes for buttons. Just dont be scared, worse come to worse, you can always take it off. The Vinyl is forgiving, so u can peel it off and reapply to reposition and stretch it a little.
I did my steering wheel controls in the car, I didn't want to take off the steering wheel. Heat gun and a hobby knife are the main tools you need.
