Ok so I need to get tires for my new 20s and was thinking about general exclaims because they are cheap and seem to have good reviews. I don't need a all season tire so they are summer tires. Anybody know about these? If I don't hear much ill be getting yokohoma paradas instead as alot of fxers seem to like. Tirerack will be my source they seem to have the best prices.

I have the General Grabber UHP right now and will probably get the Exclaims next. I've had Falkens and Hankooks before; both were worse than my Grabbers in both the dry/wet.

I don't feel that the Generals can be beat in terms of performance for the dollar.

I had the General Grabber UHP on my Titan and have nothing but great things to say. Imagine a 5000lb truck at highway speeds in the rain without slipping at all and that's the Grabbers, even at 80+.

I currently have Prada Spec Xs on the FX, but my sizes are slightly larger than most at 295/45/20 all the way around and they have been excellent as well. However AWD negates most slippage:smile (2):

Yes, I'm sold on the General brand for now. I wanted the BFG KDW's, but they were price prohibitive at the time. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise with the Generals. They are made by Continental, without the Continental price tag. My 265/50 20's were around $500, mounted/balanced/installed. Driving through downpours at 80+ without any sort of hydroplaning was almost too weird... With my previous 3 brands of tires, I'd get that "hesitation" feeling when the tire would hit deep water and begin to lose contact.
